Audio Enhancement Tips

bulletYou must submit a mixed, edited, assembled, playable CD-R.  No editing is done to your music with the Enhancement service.  We do not support file uploading with this service.
bulletRemember, NO "Over"s.  Go ahead and mix as hot as you reasonably can, just make sure not to clip it at all.  Not once!  Nope, not even that real little one at the end of the bridge.  It is not important that your mix be "hot", that's our job.  It is VERY important not to clip the signal at all.
bulletDo not normalizing your mixes.  It is counter productive for you to normalize your mixes.  We will get the signal level up there for you.  If one song seems louder than another, don't worry.  We will make all of your music sound like it belongs on the same CD.
bulletYou will generally hear more reverb after mastering.  If you are mixing a project and you are not familiar with this phenomenon, be careful.   Download an example of what a mix sounds like before and after mastering, then you'll be able to mix with confidence.
bulletSend your project on a CD-R.
bulletDocument thoroughly.  Download our track sheet.  Fill it out and send it with your project.
